AISF conference in OU in last week of November

Hyderabad, November 14:

Mr. Abhay Taxal, President of All India Students’ Federation told that the 28th conference of the organization will be held in Osmania University on 28th,29th and 30th of November in which more than 800 students delegates will participate. All the activists who are against commercialization of education will also participate. He said that the steps taken by the Govt. in the field of Education are ineffective despite Right to Education Act. and Compulsory Education, Govt. failed to control irregularities in the field of Education. The criminal silence of Central Govt. is making the future of the student’s dark. He told that three bills pertaining to Education are pending in the parliament. Govt. is not serious about passing them whereas it got Nuclear and Food Security Bills passed in Parliament despite having no majority.

Mr. Syed Waliullah Quadri, President of AISF, A.P. Unit told that the proposed conference is a proclamation of war against the monopoly of the capitalists in the field of Education. Students belonging to poor and middle class are very much worried that education has been commercialized. Mr. Lenin Babu, General Secretary of the Organization and other members were present in the ceremony in which the conference poster was released.
