November 12:

Tiles bearing the handprints of Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi will be installed at the famous bandstand promenade in suburban Bandra. The duo were today present at the UTV Stars 'Walk of the Stars', an initiative to honour the invaluable contribution of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema. The property will encompass hand prints of renowned celebrities on a customized slab. "Its very heart warming to be honored this way. I think after 30-40 years, audience will not even remember who we are, meaning the present generation of actors. Its this property that will remind audience of our contribution towards Indian cinema and will also make us eternal in the eyes of many," Ajay said. Ajay, 43, has been paired opposite Sonakshi in 'Son of Sardaar' that releases tomorrow. Even Sonakshi, 25, who is three-film-old in the industry, is quite ecstatic of receiving this honour so early in her career. "I am extremely humbled and honorees by this. It happened early in my career. The fact that my tile will be placed alongside the legends of Indian cinema is indeed very heart warming," Sonakshi said. The property was launched early this year with the felicitation of Kapoor family. Legendary actors Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, Rishi, wife Neetu, Karisma and Kareena's hand-print slabs were installed at the promenade. PTI
