The managing committee of Jamiatul Banat dismissed nine lady teachers on the charges of their involvements in promoting the demoralization activities among the girls. The committee also decided to close down the Islamic school and the girls hostel till the situation becomes normal and better moral training of the girls is assured.
Despite all the obstacles, the managing committee conducted the first admissions test successfully and new admissions were completed. Many girls started coming from various localities of the city and imparting of regular education was started. The Director of the school Maulana Abdul Aleem Islahi refused to accep the cumulative and unanimous decision of the managing committee. He continued coming to the office of the school eversince the commencement of the new academic year and continued to discharge his duties. He sent a message on 13th June about his sickness and didn’t come to school. In the afternoon, when all the teachers and the students had left the school, he came to school along with his family members.
He broke open the looks of the main gate and possessed the school forcibly. The local residents of the area informed the members of the managing committee about this situation. All the members reached the school. The local residents told Maulana Islahi that the school has been established with the donations of the Muslim community and hence he can not turn it into his personal property. The Al-Banath society is empowered to run the affairs of the school. So, it is better that he goes away along with his family members. After seeing the unpleasant situation, Maulana Islahi went away. The managing committee locked the gate with new locks. The managing committee issued a press note that imparting of education would continue as usual.
