Hyderabad, December 17:

(Siasat News) Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee decided to boycott all the courts today to record their protest against G.O. No. 2348 and to organize a rally from High Court to Madina circle. The committee appealed to all the Telangana advocates to participate in the rally.

Talking to newsmen yesterday, Convenor of Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee, Mr. M. Rajender Reddy said that in case Govt. of A.P. doesn’t withdraw the said G.O., advocates would go to New Delhi on 28th December to exert pressure for taking action for the formation of separate Telangana. He pointed out that state Govt. issued this G.O. according permission to start criminal cases against 24 advocates who participated in protest lodged at High Court in support of Telangana earlier.

Criticizing the Govt., Mr. Reddy said that it is making attempts to protect the Ministers and Govt. officials who are involved in many irregularities. Due to their irregularities, Govt. incurred a loss to the tune of thousands of crores of rupees, whereas Telangana advocates are struggling for a right cause.

Mr. Sahodara Reddy, Member of Bar Council told that during the course of protest, advocates would tear off copies of the said G.O. and burn the effigy of state Govt. in front of all the courts. He also demanded Congress, TDP and YSR Congress to declare their stance on Telangana issue before 28th December.
