The release said Campus Front of India will be in the forefront in leading students to take up social issues, strive for the oppressed sections of the society and empower the campuses to mark a new dawn in the history of Students Activism. Campus Front of India was formed as a result of the series of discussions held by student organizations which were active in taking up social issues in various parts of the country, release pointed out.

“Students are considered as an important section which can play a crucial role in building the society. Students are the privileged section of the society who has the power of education, vision and knowledge with them which is denied to most of the marginalized sections of the society. Unfortunately we have seen a decline in student activism among students for the last few decades. Students movements once considered one of the most powerful catalyst of any cause have now turned into mere pawns of their political mentors. In this critical juncture Campus Front will strive for the revival of student’s power and motivate students to lead social movements”, the release stated. (pervezbari@eth.net)
