London, October 26: "Sex And The City" star Kim Cattrall regrets losing her virginity at the age of 15 and says it ruined her love life for years.
The actress confessed she first had sex with a man while she was still a schoolgirl, but was left disappointed because the experience was so underwhelming.
"I should not have had sex so young. I lost my virginity at 15 and thought: 'Is that it?'. I was not ready for the experience," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
"It set a pattern after that. I was not expecting a great deal from sex - and I did not get it either. I would have been better to discuss sex with girlfriends - and I think girls are more open today."
"No one really tells you how to do sex. I remember reading the Kama Sutra, but could not really understand it... I separated love from sex. Or just thought sex would lead to love. It did not, of course," she said.
