Hyderabad, December 23: Attacking the Centre's decision to hold wideranging consultations on Telangana issue, Telugu Desam Party tonight accused the Congress of "yet again deceiving" the people of the proposed state.

"In the name of consensus, the Congress has again pushed the Telangana issue to the backburner. People of Telangana will not pardon Congress for this," TDP senior leaders Nagam Janardhana Reddy, T Devender Goud, M Narasimhulu said reacting to the latest statement of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on the division of the state.

The TDP leaders charged the Congress with being responsible for the current situation by not preparing its party MLAs on the state bifurcation issue.

good mr NJR..whn u party in command u take the time and whn u lose the command thn u say tht the present govt.is backburner...good this is our MLA frst the student and then MLA...they dod'nt have to work for the people only they want to b popular among themself so tht if they dies they wil remember all the generation to come..this is MLA...frst solve the problm of the people not to put the problm fr the people...people have elected u to serve not to create the problm...ok
