July 04:

Hyderabad, July 4: State CPI has expressed deep concern over rampant scams and irregularities at the centre. CPI has warned to lay siege on all the district collectorates on July 11 against scams, irregularities, corruption and seeking separate Telangana statehood. It alleged that the governments of centre and the state have completely failed in putting a curb on scams and irregularities. It stated that Congress led UPA government at the centre, by adopting dual standard on Telangana issue, is hurting the sentiments of Telangana people. Mr. Aziz Pasha senior leader and MP told this in his statement.

He asserted that CPI is the only political party which is supporting Telangana cause since the beginning. He said the central government has failed in identifying several persons involved in scams, irregularities and corruption.

He condemned the atrocities on Tamil people in Srilanka and said that during recent past 40 people were killed in Srilanka. He said CPI has decided to observe solidarity day on July 8 demanding to stop atrocities against Tamil people in Srilanka.
