Uncle attacks niece’s lover

Hyderabad, February 13 (Siasat News): A man allegedly attacked the lover of his niece with a knife injuring him badly. This incident occurred in Kushaiguda police station limits. As per the details, Kumarswamy, under the influence of alcohol, attacked one Purnachandra and injured him. It is alleged that Kumarswamy was interested in getting married with his niece Swarooparani. However, he suspected that Swaroopa was not only in love with Purnachandra but also enjoying illicit relations with him. This suspicion led him to attack Purnachandra. Kushaiguda police has registered a case and arrested Kumarswamy.

TV newsreader commits suicide

(Siasat News): The newsreader of a private Oriya channel hanged himself to death in his house in Vanasthalipuram. Unable to perform well in his work and family problems reportedly forced him to take his life. He is recognized as Sabyasachi Patnaik, 27 of Odisha. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Burglar held

(Siasat News): Sleuths of Bowenpally police station held a burglar and recovered stolen goods worth Rs. 25 lakhs. Police also seized a couple of two wheelers. Police had intensified its vigil after a series of burglaries and arrested Englay Ranjender Rao, 26, a resident of Ramkrishna Nagar, Bagh Amberpet. He is a native of Kothapet, Ranga Reddy district.
