New Delhi, October 20: A decision on infusion of Rs 1200 crore equity in Air India is expected to be taken by next month, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said today.
"We have moved a Cabinet note for infusion of Rs 1200 crore as equity (in Air India). It should be approved next month," Patel said on the sidelines of a function here.
"Air India's overall turnover would be higher. The yields are already better and costs are going down," he said.
"We can look at pumping another Rs 2000 crore later," he said.
