Mumbai, December 16: Former Miss Asia Pacific turned Bollywood actress Diya Mirza had a peculiar encounter recently when her stalker proposed marriage to her. The man, believed to be in his early 30s, has been stalking the actress for six long years.
The guy, who is said to be a well-educated man and a doctor by profession, went beyond the limits by coming to Diya's house a day after her birthday. He asked her to marry him. He had an engagement ring and a card with him.
The shocked actress called out for her domestic help and driver for help, and later lodged a police complaint against the stalker at the Khar Police station. The cops are currently on a lookout for the trouble-maker.
