Driver from AP town murdered in Dubai

A taxi driver, hailing from East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh was allegedly murdered by three unidentified persons in Dubai, police said here today. K Suryanarayana Raju(30) from Sakhelatepalli had left for Dubai two months back to work as a driver with a travel agency there. He was recently married. The miscreants engaged his taxi, took it to a deserted place and murdered him, police said, adding his body was later thrown out and taxi taken away. The Dubai police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits, they said. The family members of Raju received a phone call from Dubai today and were informed about his murder following which a complaint has been lodged at the Sakelatipalli police station. PTI
