G N Azad assures complete justice to Muslims

Hyderabad, January 6: Muslim Congress leaders on Thursday met Union health minister and Andhra Pradesh congress incharge Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad at Gandhi Bhawan and submitted a memorandum regarding injustices meted out to Muslims in the state.

They alleged that the minority welfare ministry has been transformed into fee reimbursement ministry. They demanded ticket to 2 Muslim leaders in the bye-elections and appointment of atleast 5 Muslim presidents among the district Congress committee presidents.

The leaders also demanded to increase the minority budget to 1000 crore from the present 300 crore rupees and warned against preference of non Congress leaders in distribution of posts.

Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad assured complete justice to Muslims this time.

A delegation of Muslim leaders led by President Pradesh Congress minority department Mr. Mohammad Sirajuddin met Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad.
