The Navarathri celebrations of Lord Ganesh will commence here from August 29. In this connection, VHP national president G. Raghava Reddy inaugurated Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samithi office at Siddiamber Bazaar here this morning.
Speaking to the media, Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi organizers said the first celebrations of Lord Ganapathi in the Telangana State would be held in a grand manner. The Samithi has urged the TRS government to provide electricity and other facilities to the Ganesh mandaps free of charges.
The organizers said immersion of Ganesh idols would be held on September 8 for which all arrangements would be made. (NSS)
