Hyderabad, December 11:

BJP State president G. Kishan Reddy has said that the elections in Gujarat will influence national politics.
Kishan Reddy has gone to campaigning in Gujarat for the party at the invitation of the Gujarat unit and was addressing a meeting at Surat. He said the entire nation was waiting for Chief Minister Narendra Modi's victory as the State elections being held on December 13 and 17 would turn a new chapter in Indian politics.

He said that particularly the youth of the country want Modi to win as he turned the State as the synonym for development.
Stating that Modi strove for a decade untiringly for achieving all-round development of Gujarat, he said this was the reason why the intellectuals, industrialists, youth, social workers, farmers and women were strongly wishing that he would post an impressive victory. Asserting that no party had the capacity to defeat Modi, he said the Congress was making baseless criticism on him as it knew that it would bite the dust.

Kishan Reddy has alleged that the Congress was in the habit of dividing the people to rule them with its pseudo secularism. He said that it went to Modi's credit that there was not a single communal strife in Gujarat for the past decade. He said the Congress party, which was living naming its past glory had buried the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi by inviting the FDIs. He also said this would compel another Swadesi Movement in the nation. He said that lakhs of Telugu people living in Gujarat, particularly the handloom workers and cloth merchants were supporting Modi's rule, as he has been working for developing the Telugu people rising about regional considerations. He appealed to the Telugu people to ensure the victory of the Modi government. (NSS)
