Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of APS Hajj Committee has invited applications from the Muslim employees working in Govt. and Private Sector establishments to offer their services as volunteers for the Hajj season of 2014.
Candidate should be 25-50 years and they should submit their applications before 31st March. Senior officers are not eligible. For every 300 Hajj pilgrims one Hajj Volunteer will be provided.
According to Mr. Abdul Hameed, Executive Officer of APS Hajj Committee the candidates who attended Hajj Orientation camps conducted by Central or State Govt. will be considered. The candidates should know Arabic language and the rituals of Hajj. They cannot take their family members for Hajj. If any complaint is received against them either by Consul General of India, Hajj Committee or External Affairs Ministry, they have to refund the entire amount spent on their travel.
