Mumbai, July 24: Esha Deol-starrer Tell Me O Khuda, will now have a new director - Hema Malini. Esha's mother was producing the film, but she was unhappy with what the director Mayur Puri had shot so far.
The two had several creative differences which could not be solved. It seems Hema recently viewed the footage and realised that Mayur had not stuck to the basic storyline he had narrated to her.
He had also shot too much footage. Fed up, she has removed him from the production and will now direct the rest of the film.
Hema has earlier directed Dil Aashna Hai, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Divya Bharati, Mithun Chakraborthy and Jeetendra. Tell Me O Khuda also stars Arjan Bajwa and Dharmendra will play Esha's father's role.
