Hyderabad, February 04: The arrest of senoir I.A.S officers in connection with the Obulapuram Mining scam and irregularities committed by Emaar properties created a furour among the bureaucrats.
More than 15 I.A.S officers belonging to IAS officer's Association met the Cheif Minister Mr.Kiran Kumar Reddy and complained the way CBI is targetting only IAS officers leaving politicians and Ministers.
They contended that officials issued orders as per the instrunctions of the misnisters they acted as per the cabinet decisions.
In the case, of Obulapuram Mining case Ms.Sabeetha Indira Reddy and B.Krishna Reddy were not interrogated even though they were the Mining Ministers at that time.
With CBI probes,IAS fraternity is getting bad name.Such arrest may hamper their promotions as these probes are entered in their service records.
