(Siasat News) For rapid development, it is necessary for the Indian Muslims that they should stop complaining and grumbling against the Govt. or any other organization. Indian Muslims have many facilities in Indian democratic system which should be made use of. Dr. Syed Habeeb Ashraf who is residing in America for the past 40 years disclosed these ideas in a special interview with Siasat. Unfortunately the Muslims of India have a feeling of victimization which hampers their progress. Citing the examples of the blessings the Muslims Society has even today he said that the Muslims have a very well organized family network. This is a very good social system which the people in the western countries have forgotten. Every Muslim child in India knows his father whereas every fourth child wandering on the roads of London does not know to which race he belongs to.
Dr. Habeeb Ashraf told that if the Muslims of India work hard and plan their affairs, they can progress and develop the country also. He told that in making progress the youths have a major role to play. The Muslim youths of today should stop pointing fingers at others and abandon making complaints. They should plan their future. Pointing out at the Muslim leadership in India, he commented that due to lack of Muslim leadership in India, the Muslims of the country are suffering. It is the duty of the Muslims to pressurize the Govt. for the implementation of Sachar Committee and Ranganatha Mishra Commission reports. Prayer call (Azaan) was banned in Turkey in 1925. Albania banned naming Muslim names. America gave right to vote to women after 91 years of struggle. The Muslims of India have no such restrictions.

Alhamdulillah not only me but all Muslims are proud to be an Indian because it is our nation.At some points i agree with the author but things have changed alot in these 40 years.Before making statements one has to have the knowledge what he is talking about.Muslims in India gets second class treatment in almost all areas.They think that all Muslims are terrorist.We are facing discrimation everywhere.i request to siasat news paper not to bring this kind of issues in your newspaper because alreay your news agency is going under loss because of your stupid articles and ways of reporting

Discrimination
Indian Mulsims desparately need reservation as they have been discriminated over last six decades. The reservation should be for exclusively Muslims and it should be atleast 30% to compensate for the 60 years of discrimination.

Dr Ashraf why are you comparing Turkey & other countries with Indian democracy. Hope you have forgotten the history of India, Please come and stay in India about one year and see the differences. Did you forget Muslims are present side by side and equal in Independence fight together. Muslims in India are from many generations and thousand years. Also big contribution of Muslim is in modern India today.

All said is true Dr. Ashraf Habeeb, but what about the top heads sitting in every department. They are non- muslims, and a muslims approach to acquire his entitled benefits are waived off by the powers sitting as Heads....
Door ke dhool suhane
Sitting far away for 40 years just reading few articles and newspaper does not give clear picture. Dr. Syed come to India be with your people for five years take their interviews read the history how planned the Muslim brought to this situation. Then write this type of article.
Doctor should stay in India to find out what is discrimination
Stupid Dr. Syed Ashraf should first stay in India with his doctor's degree and find out what the discrimination is all about. When he does not get a job even with his doctor's degree with his Muslim label then he will understand how the Muslims of India are suffering. He should then talk how Muslims can develop in this atmosphere.
