Hyderabad , December 25:

It is expected that C.M. of A.P. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy will provide interim relief to State Govt. employees as New Year’s gift. State Govt. Employees’ Associations have been demanding 45-50% interim relief to be given to them in view of the delay in submission of pay commission report. They have represented to the Chief Secretary a number of times but no positive response could be received.

Sources close to C.M. revealed that Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy gives top priority to the solution of employees problem but in view of the present political situation in the State, he is not able to concentrate on their issues. However it is expected that C.M. might declare interim relief to employees as New Year’s gift.

Mr. Vidya Sagar, leader of NGO’s Association told that under his leadership a delegation met the C.M. on his visit to Vijaywada and demanded to provide interim relief immediately to State Govt. employees. The C.M. expressed positive action and assured that he would announce interim relief as a gift for New Year’s Day.
