Hyderabad, October 15: Islamic Art and Culture has its own history. Arabs and Persians took initiative to develop it but the Indians didn’t leave any stone unturned in prompting it. Muslim rulers and saints have contributed a lot to the development of Islamic art and architecture.
In order to highlight these features, Moulana Azad National Urdu University in collaboration with MESCO (Muslim Education, Social and Cultural Organisation) Hyderabad and I.O.S (Institute of Objective Studies)New Delhi.
The seminar will be held from 25th to 27th November 2011. which will be inaugurated by Mr. Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India. The seminar will highlight various facets of Islamic Architecture. In addition to it, stress would be laid in the contribution of Muslim Saints in promoting and popularisng Isalmic faith and values in India.
Prof. Mohammed Miyan, V.C of Urdu University and Prof. Khalid Saeed are making all the arrangements.
