They told the lady that she should ask for the wealth. After that the lady sought neighbours advice on the issue. They advised her to ask for regaining her lost vision so that she could see the world. The lady gave a thought to the advices during night.

Next day, when Lord Ganesha came and said," What do you want old lady? Whatever will you ask for, you will get." The lady told Lord Ganesha, “if you are pleased, give me wealth, good health, vision in eyes, everlasting auspicious state of wifehood, bless me with grandson and liberation after my end.

After hearing her words, Lord Ganesha said, " Buddhi Mai, you cheated me. But all your demands are fulfilled." After that Lord Ganesha disappeared.

O Lord Ganesha, as you showered blessings on the old lady so bless others and me as well.

Story 2:There was a beautiful princess Veeravati. She had seven brothers. When she was of the marriageable age, Veeravati was married to a king. After her marriage, she visited her parents on the occasion of the first Karva Chauth.
