Man beats up fiancé in public for resisting his advances

Kuwait City, January 16: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing her fiance of molesting and harassing her, the Al Shahed daily has reported.

In her complaint, she said her fiancé invited her for dinner and booked a cabin in a restaurant in Salmiya. He then allegedly attempted to molest her and when she refused to be touched, he reportedly beat her in public.

A case has been filed at the area police station. The man has been summoned for interrogation.
