Dubai, February 04: A Sudanese shepherd murdered his cousin in Dubai after finding out that one of the female camels sold to him was not pregnant.
The 24-year-old man told court that he stabbed his cousin in self defence after his “fat” relative pushed him down to the ground following the camel dispute.
Witnesses said they found the man was still alive after he was stabbed by the shepherd in Marmoum area and that he died because of heavy bleeding.“The coroner’s report showed that it was the victim who was trying to defend himself,” the Arabic language daily Emirat Alyoum said.It said the judge adjourned hearings to February 22.
