Minor rape case: Fraud case registered against Bangalore school

A case of fraud has been registered against the school in Bangalore where the recent incident of sexual abuse of a three-year-old student took place as the educational institution has no record to prove that it is affiliated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

“A case has been registered under Section 420. They are cheating the public as the school has no records to prove it is CBSE affiliated,” said Commissioner for Public Instruction Mohammed Moshin.

A three-year-old LKG student of a private school in Bangalore was allegedly raped by her school teacher earlier this week. The girl was subjected to medical tests on Tuesday before being admitted to a private hospital.

Bangalore Police had earlier on Thursday detained a suspect and filed a criminal complaint against the school.

This incident of sexual abuse, which saw protests by angry parents, occurred barely three months after a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two gym instructors inside the premises of another private school in Bangalore on July 3. (ANI)
