Missing girl's body found in bushes

Pudukottai (TN), July 15:

The body of a 19-year-old college girl, who went missing from July 10, was found among the bushes at Ochamalai in this district today, police said.

Police said the girl, a Polytechnic student from Neduncheri village near here, had told her parents that she
was going to college and had left the house.

As she did not return,her father lodged a complaint, police said.

Some locals saw dogs dragging a body today and informed police who identified it as that of the girl.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
