More buildings brought under heritage cover

Hyderabad, January 18:

(Siasat News) Municipal administration has declared 15 more buildings under heritage net. G.O.Ms. No. 20 was issued yesterday on the recommendations of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority's Heritage Conservation committee.

In Hyderabad, 151 buildings have already been declared as heritage buildings and 30 places have been enlisted in this list. It is proposed to extend this list to include 15 more buildings. These include Shamsabad police station (Old) Maniyarpatti Mosque of Qutbiguda, Daira Kaman of Zamistanpur, Monda Market Gate area, St. Sebastian Church area, Regimental Bazar, Post office of Nizam's Govt. at RTC Crossroads, Madigunda Shankeriah Muth, Kavadiguda, Umapally Setharamachandra Swamy Temple, Narkoda (Shamsabad) Mahalakha Bai Chanda's Stairs Well, Tarnaka (EFLU), Islamia High School, Vivek Vardhini High School, Jambagh Raod, Dr. Sudhir Naik's residence at Gowliguda, Rahat Manzil, Saidabad, Aziz Bagh, Noor Khan Bazar, State Bank of India, Bank Street, Sultan Bazaar.
