February 20:

The election committee for TRS met yesterday morning and finalized the list of candidates of six constituencies. For Mahaboobnagar, Mr. Syed Ibrahim has been nominated to contest. He had contested in 2009 election also. The other candidates are Mr. Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad) Mr. Gampa Goverdhan (Kamareddy), Dr. P. Rajaiah (Ghanpur), J. Krishna Rao (Kollapur Mahaboobnagar) TRS is supporting Dr. Nagam Janardhan Reddy who is contesting as an independent candidates from Nagar Kurnool constituency.

This muslim candidate will lose badly. Muslims are against Telangana.Many Hindus sacrificed their lives for Telangan And its shame that TRS has fielded Mulsim. BJP should field a strong Hindu candidate and win Mahaboobnagar seat.

TRS should take a leaf from the elections of UP where all political parties have given tickets to several Muslim candidates and have backed them up fully so that they win the elections. Only one seat for a muslim candidate, of course this is just a by-poll, shows that there is some change in TRS's communal politics. However, in the next general elections, TRS must give tickets to at least 50 Muslim candidates in the Telangana area.
