Hyderabad, February 09:

AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has accused TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to push the State into financial crisis.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Ponguleti said that by asking people not to pay their electricity bills, agricultural loans and their interests and other charges, the TDP chief has been inciting people to cause financial crisis in the State. He said Naidu was fully aware of the reasons responsible for the energy crisis. However, he was trying to instigate people on the same issue. He said that Naidu's statements do not suit the stature of a Leader of the Opposition.

Ponguleti said that the opposition parties have a right to criticise the government's policies, but it was incorrect to misuse those rights. (INN)
