Washington, January 28: A car driven by US President Barack Obama is up for auction on shopping website eBay at a whopping starting bid of $1 million.
Obama, before he became president, reportedly drove the grey 2005 Chrysler 300C sedan.
Lisa Czibor, who is managing the auction, said Obama leased the car for three years from 2004 to 2007 before trading it for a hybrid model.
The ad on eBay says: "Barack Obama owned driven car -- 2005 Chrysler 300C 19k miles driven by Barack."
"The guy who bought it found out it was Obama's car. He put 1,600 miles on it and once Barack was elected president, he stopped driving it," Czibor said.
Cars belonging to other world leaders have sold for huge amounts in the past.
A 1977 white Peugeot belonging to Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sold at an auction for $1 million. Hitler's Mercedes went for $1,600,000 and Pope John Paul II's Ford sold for $690,000.
