Parents kill 2 children, commit suicide

Bangalore, September 11:

A couple committed suicide after killing their two children by administering poison near a village at Bennerghatta on the outskirts of the city today. Police said Manjunath and Satyavathi, who were allegedly neck deep in debt, first administered poison to their daughter Rushika (12) and son Surya Kumar (10) before consuming it themselves to end their lives. A case has been registered and the bodies were sent for post mortem.
