Hyderabad, January 05:

Irrigation Minister Sudarshan Reddy said that only the high powered committee would be monitoring the Polavaram tenders.

“The issue is not under our purview. It is the high power committee of senior officials that will be looking after the issue,” he said. The documents submitted by the companies that participated in the bidding process are being verified by the Committee, he said.

The first meeting on the Pranahita-Chevella with the Maharashtra government will be held on January 21, he said.
