Hyderabad, January 05:

TRS MLA T Harish Rao on Saturday met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking regularization of contract workers in the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.

The TRS leader, along with the newly elected Trade Union leaders, called on the Chief Minister and also urged him to withdraw the proposed hike in power tariff. The delegation also suggested that the Government should reduce sales tax on diesel to improve functioning of RTC.

Later speaking to reporters, he said that the proposal to increase power tariff was not proper. If necessary the party will approach the court on the issue, Harish Rao said. (INN)
