Hyderabad, October 12: The doctors who graduated from Osmania University always regarded the medical profession as sacred and they left no stone unturned to render selfless services to the public.
Be it any part of the night Dr. Abul Hasan Siddiqui would reach the patient’s home carrying his bag, and the patient would restore to health by his graciousness itself and the remaining treatment he used to do by his efficacious medicines.
These views were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali khan editor ‘Siasat’ on the book release function of Dr. Abul Hasan Siddiqui’s book ‘Amraz-e-insani aur Tibb-e-Jadeed’.
‘Medicos are getting admission by means of money rather than through talents this could also be the reason that now a days doctors lack commitment to the service of humanity. Due to this the profession is turned into a trade rather than a service.’ Mr. Zahid Ali Khan said.
Dr. Mohammad Hyder Khan deemed Dr. Abul Hasan Siddiqui’s book as the need of every house.

I remember my childhood
I remember my childhood days, my father use to take me to a doctor when I fell sick and the doctor use to examine my pulse, tongue, eyes and use Stethoscope for chest and prescribe medicine without any Lab test and we use to get well soon. These days doctors could not treat a patient even after the Lab test reports/ X-rays in there hand. What is the use of this education and these type of doctors. They are just running a fooling shop to mint money.
Well said by some friends, private medical colleges should be shut down by Govt. and this education should be granted only on the merit basis to regain its respect.

Rightly said Sir, parents are paying 2 to 3 million rupess to get MBBS seat. And after completion of degree this doctors are taking back this money with intrest from patients. We are afraid to see doctors, hospitals has become currency printing factories. Immediate corrective measures needed, Intellectuals like you should take iniative. Janaab Zahid sahab please highlight this problem in your esteemed daily.

i am a doctor and i agree with zahid ali khan saheb, governement should close all privte medical colleges, management seats and reservations. MBBS and other medical courses should be purely on merit bases and the medicl education should be free. this is a very important issue, we should try to change the system. thank you
