According to the sources, Sania Mirza's father Imran Mirza has called off her engagement to Mohammed Sohrab Mirza.
Sania got engaged with her longtime friend Sohrab Mirza on July 9, 2010. Sohrab belongs to a business family in Hyderabad. At present, he is pursuing his business studies in United Kingdom.
The glittering engagement ceremony of Sania Mirza and Sohrab was held at a luxury hotel in Hyderabad.
When approached Sania Mirza to comment, she categorically denied to divulge into the pros and cons but confirmed that a engagement was called off.
Sania said, "We were friends for half a decade, but found ourselves incompatible during our engagement period. I wish Sohrab the best in life."
