Mumbai, September 28: Shahid Kapoor in a war of words with trade analyst Taran Adarsh abused him over the latter's twitter comments on the collections of Shahid-Sonam latest release Mausam.
Commenting on the collections that Mausam recorded at the box office, Adarsh had tweeted, “Fetched approx Rs 21 cr/Rs 22 crore net in its opening weekend. Biz slid downwards on Saturday, but showed escalation on Sunday... numbers are below the mark”.
Shahid was apparently upset with the comment and tweeted back, “So all those trying so hard to scr** Mausam can go scr** themselves. Waise bhi aajkal kuchh logon ke adarsh buri tarha gir chuke hain.”
Adarsh, could not take this lying down and tweeted, “Abusing me won't help. Instead, get a reality check and introspect the shortcomings of the film.”
