Hyderabad, April 12: The news about Sunni-Ulema-Board (SUB) issuing a `fatwa’ directing all the Muslims not to attend the upcoming high profile wedding of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik, for violating the Islamic law, had sent jitters among the couple’s family members. However, the SUB later in the day clarified that the fatwa is not specific against the star couple.
Representatives of SUB told Express that earlier a fatwa was issued with respect to barring bride and bridegroom moving together and staying in the same house, before officially getting married, as it is against Islam religion. ``According to Islam a couple is allowed to see each other, just on one occasion before they get married. So anyone who violates this practice, their actions are considered `haram’. As per the fatwa, all the other Muslims should not attend such marriages,’’ SUB General Secretary Moulana Hasibul Hasan said.
He also said that the specific fatwa can never be issued against any specific couple. ``The fatwa was issued long time back. It is not specific to Sania-Shoaib case,’’ Hasan added Meanwhile, the family members of Sania Mirza came out with a clarification and said that Shoaib has not been staying at the Mirza’s house.
``We would like to clarify that the groom has not been staying in Mirza’s residence for the last few days. His mother and other family members are residing at Mirza’s residence as guests,’’ Sania Mirza’s family members said in a press release.
Meanwhile, Shoaib’s sister arrived from Germany and all his sisters had gone for shopping and sightseeing of Hyderabad. Sania today took some time out to attend the engagement of GVK’s grandson, Krishna Bhupal.

Still there are 50 thousands postgraduate girls, who cross the age limiits and waiting for compitable pairs, which is more difficult now .Even in the high societies also they are not getting suitable pairs. Brother we must think...where we are now. What our sunna says, when we get suitable matrimonial tie the knots immediately. Every parent must think and keep in mind what is sunna.

I request the parents to perform the Nikha...and don't make partitions on the boundaries, everywhere hyderbadies are happy/famous in the Globe/Keeping our identity. Here in states many marriages goingon , every mosque there 3-4 nikha or friday or sunday.
Shoib in Sania's house a pathetic move
It is a very pathetic/embarrassing situation for all Indians. As the current situation between the two countries are more weekend by such steps. In other words Pakistani people are not reliable. They keep on changing their views/thought. If anything is related to India, Pakistan and their citizens take it in a different way. They have a jealous in their heart/mind and want to take out as revenge by doing such kind of activities done by the Pakistani Cricketer.
Sania Mirza should understand the situations and also see the past of the Pakistani Cricketer who she is going to get married.
Just imagine the life they will live after this marriage. Nor any Indian will support such step taken by her. Nor she nor her parents will live peaceful life thereafter. The situation will be worst for her in the coming future.
Sania Mirza should try to understand that it is just a wrong move. She can correct this right now to avoid any future problems for herself and her family.
We are proud that Sania Mirza belongs to India and has brought a very good name to India in Tennis. We hope that the same proud be in all Indians.
As a sincere advice to her she must think a lot and take back this step of getting married to a Pakistani Person who ever it may be.
