Sonia, Mamata to share dais again for AIDS Express

Kolkata, Nov 24: Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee are expected to once again share the dais, this time during the inauguration of a special train to create awareness about HIV/AIDS.

The last time the duo shared the dais was during the Lok Sabha poll campaign in Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee’s constituency in Jangipur, Murshidabad.

The railways have decided to run a special train to spread awareness on HIV AIDS during international AIDS Awareness Day on December 1. The railways invited Gandhi during the flagging-off ceremony of the train in Delhi. The train is expected to run across India spreading the message of AIDS awareness. The train is named AIDS Express and will cover 153 cities in India.
