Three new trains to be flagged off on R-Day

Hyderabad, January 25: As announced in the Railway Budget 2010 by Union Railways Minister Mamata Banerjee, the South Central Railway will introduce three new train services which will be flagged off on January 26, 2011 from Secunderabad Railway Station.

The trains, Train No 12732/12731 Secunderabad-Tirupati- Secunderabad Bi-weekly Express; Train No 12752/12751 Secunderabad – Manuguru – Secunderabad Tri-weekly Express; and Train No 17639/17640 Kacheguda - Akola – Kacheguda Intercity Express. The last train has been extended from Hazur Saheb, Nanded.

The regular services of these trains will commence from January 27, 2011. The schedule for these trains has also been released.

Accordingly, Train No 12732/12731 Secunderabad – Tirupati – Secunderabad Bi-weekly Express (Via Pakala) will depart from Secunderabad on Mondays and Wednesdays at 19.00 hrs and arrive at Tirupati at 9.30 AM the next day. Enroute the train will halt at Vikarabad, Raichur, Gooty Jn, Anantapur, Dharmavaram at, Madanapalli Road, Kalikiri, Pilier and Pakala.

In the return direction, Train No 12731 Tirupati – Secunderabad Bi-weekly Express will depart from Tirupati on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.05 PM and arrive at Secunderabad at 7.00 AM the next day. Enroute the train will arrive halt Pakala, Pilier, Kalikiri, Madanapalli Road, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Gooty Jn, Raichur and Vikarabad.

This train will consist of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totalling to 18 Coaches.

Likewise, train No 12752/12751 Secunderabad – Manuguru – Secunderabad Tri-weekly Express will depart from Secunderabad on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11.45 PM and arrive at Manuguru at 5.45 AM the next day.

Enroute the train will halt at Warangal, Dornakal, Karepalli, Tadikalapudi, Bethampudi and Bhadrachalam Road.

In the return direction, Train No 12751 Manuguru– Secunderabad Tri-weekly Express will depart from Manuguru on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9.45 PM and arrive at Secunderabad at 3.45 AM the next day.

Enroute the train will halt at Bhadrachalam Road at, Bethampudi, Tadikalapudi, Karepalli, Dornakal and Warangal.

This train will consist of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totalling to 18 Coaches.

Similarly, Train No 17639 Kacheguda – Akola Intercity Express will depart from Kacheguda at 7.30 AM and arrive at Akola 6.30 PM the same day.

Enroute the train will halt at Sitafalmandi, Malkajgiri, Bolarum, Gowdavalli, Medchal, Wadiaram, Mirzapalli, Akanapet, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Umri, Mudkhed Jn, Hazur Saheb Nanded, Purna, Basmet Hingoli and Washim.

In the return direction, Train No 17640 Akola – Kacheguda Intercity Express will depart from Akola at 9.30 AM and arrive at Kacheguda at 8.30 PM the same day.

Enroute the train will halt at Washim, Hingoli, Basmet, Purna Jn, Hazur Saheb Nanded, Mudkhed Jn, Umri, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Akanapet, Mirzapalli, Wadiaram, Medchal, Gowdavalli, Bolarum, Malkajgiri and Sitafalmandi.

This train will consist of One AC Chair Car, Twelve second class sitting and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totalling to 15 Coaches.
