Mumbai, December 19: Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant has revealed in the latest episode of India TV's talk show Aap ki adalat, why she really broke off her engagement with reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar winner Elesh Parujanwala.
"During the shooting of Pati, patni aur wo, I learnt that Elesh has debts of nearly Rs 50 lakh. He had not come to marry me but to collect Rs 25 lakh so he could pay off his debts.
I selected him because if I had not selected anybody in the Swayamvar, the media would have said that Rakhi has fled," said Rakhi.

"Anyway, what Indian husband tells his wife to wear bikinis and smooch others? Elesh wanted a live-in relationship and wanted to stay at my home.
Is my home a dharamshala? I will marry but only when the right person comes my way. Maybe, I will hold another swayamwar. If you fail an exam, don't you give it another try?" asked Rakhi.
