Turkish bath centre defunct at Nizamia general hospital

Hyderabad, January 11: Despondent with side effects of medicines, people around the globe are busy looking for an alternative. But unfortunately for the people of Hyderabad, despite having the facility of alternative medicine, these medical centres have gone into anonymity.

The facility of Turkish bath present in govt. Nizamia general hospital and Nizamia Tibbi College has been closed for many years. Hakeems and doctors have to say that Turkish bath is the best way to heal chronic laqva and paralysis. Besides this arthritis and joint pain can also be treated through Turkish bath.

But sadly the Turkish bath facility available at Nizamia general hospital has been closed down for the past 10 years. Despite repeated representations it has not been revived.

In Hyderabad Qutub Shahi rulers started Turkish bath whose signs are still present in the remains of Golconda fort.

The bathroom of Turkish bath is also present at Masjid Mian Mashak near Puranapul which lost its identity due to illegal occupants.
