Hyderabad, December 07:

Vehdat-e-Islami Andhra Pradesh on Thursday staged dharna against Babri Masjid demolition, at Indira Park, in which large number of men and women participated. Maulana Naseeruddin, besides Dr. Abdul Hameed Makhdoomi, Muneeruddin Mujahed, Anwar Khan, Mr. Mujahed Hashmi, Dr. Mohammed Abbas, Mohammed Nazeer and Mr. Tariq Quadri advocate spoke on the occasion.

The speakers protested against the demolition of 400 year old Babri Masjid by the demolishers, in broad day light in the presence of police and under the patronage of government.

The speakers maintained that minorities have lost faith in the government and courts. No political party can form government on its own. If the situation has to be changed the Babri Masjid is to be rebuilt at the same site. Apart from that governments must shrink from creating terror among Muslims and arresting innocent Muslims. The Liberhan Commission report which was prepared by spending Rs 8 crore must be submitted in the parliament and the culprits must be brought to account.

Putting barricades to stop musallis from coming to Makkah masjid for Friday prayers was also condemned in the dharna.
