Hyderabad, March 13: ‘Follow US’, ‘Like US’ was the message of the day at the U.S. Consulate General’s official launch of their social media platforms at GVK One Mall here on Saturday.
The Consulate General Hyderabad uses its presence on popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Blogger to provide information to its followers on issues of mutual interest to the United State and India, according to a press release issued here.
Consul General Katherine Dhanani, said, “We want to engage with all kinds of people, and we have found that social media is an effective tool to reach out to the newer and younger audiences. It is informal and it is easy to use”.
