The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has informed that due to Maintenance works on 1000 mm / 900 mm dia PSC Pumping Pipeline (Manjeera Phase-I) from Rajampet to Lingampally a shutdown is being taken from 6 AM on December 20 till 6 AM on December 21.
Therefore, there will be short supply or no water supply to the following areas of GHMC west zone during this period: Chandanagar, Madinaguda, Miyapur, Hafezpet, Kanukunta, Taranagar, HCU Campus, Kondapur, Ashoknagar, RC Puram, Patancheru and enroute villages and Industries from Rajampet to Patancheru.
The Board has requested the customers to store drinking water in advance to avoid any inconvenience. (INN)
