Madina, December 22: Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region, has said that everyone is responsible for promoting the moderate Islamic religion the Kingdom is based on. He also said every citizen has a duty to fight those who want to deviate from this path.
The Emir made the statement during a lecture at the Islamic University in Madina which was attended by Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Majed, Emir of Madina region, and a number of intellectuals, writers and students.
Prince Khaled outlined his vision on moderation, and how to protect and apply it in the Kingdom’s domestic and foreign policies. He defined Saudi moderation as a balance between religion and modern life without violating the principles of religion. He also pointed out that the Kingdom was founded by King Abdul Aziz on the principles of Shariah. However he warned: “There are some people who want to violate the principles of our religion, our traditions and norms in the name of full freedom. These groups want to discard Islamic values and emulate the West. All these claims are false because they do not take our particularity into consideration.”
The Kingdom, Prince Khaled said, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, is the cradle of revelation and has its own particularity. “It is a country which was founded on Islam,” he said.
He also pointed to some current developments in the Arab World and the steady rise in people turning toward Islam. He said: “The Saudi moderation method can be used as a model for the success of this Islamic country, which holds Islamic values in high esteem and at the same time is opening up to modern technology and changes that do not contradict these Islamic values.”
He spoke about the Kingdom’s foreign policy which has been consistent and moderate since the time of King Abdul Aziz. He said: “This is manifested in the fact that the Kingdom does not allow any country to intervene in its affairs and it does not intervene in the affair of others.”
Prince Khaled also highlighted the Kingdom’s constant efforts in combating terrorism. He said: “This makes the Kingdom a successful contemporary model of an Islamic country. All those who wish good for the Kingdom should help it face the ferocious attacks launched against it by its enemies and should join forces with the Kingdom to support and advocate moderation.”

Jazakallah People come from all over world to place where our beloved prophet mohd saws peace be upon him reside and did efforts for deen so pls dont make that city moderate otherwise people coming there will forget that efforts by our beloved prophet saws and his Sahaba raz by seeing luxurious hotels shopping malls plz dont do this other wise after few years people will come there to see ours buildings and they will not learn TAKWA from that city which the SOUL of that city

Hold fast Islam
ALLAH has said in Quran if muslims do not hold rope of ALLAH, Allah will make another people(qaum) takeover you. It is not up to one country / one person all muslims should hold fast to ALLAH. Today muslim favorites are telling lies, backbiting(gheebat, amanat me qiyanat, not praying prayers, TV,Music etc etc. so how come not these anti Islam people will take over you.
Dont just read make correction in your life and specially womens in home who do not have Islamic knowledge much. Right now correct and fasten it in your life.
"Y" MUSLIM WOMEN DOES NOT HAVE ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE?
Who is responsible for their pitiable condition?
It is each and every muslim father, brother and son resposible.
The places where she will get islamic lessons and literature are the masjids. We do not take them to masjids during Juma congregations and Eid congregations.
Another source for them is their houses but they don't have time for reading the literature or Quran by meanings. They have time for everything but not for Islaam and religion.
In such situation what shall we do:
We shall allocate time for Quran recitation by meaning at least 10 to 15 minutes everyday either b4 going to bed or immediately after fajr salah.
Please make your homes a place where QURAN AND HADEES ARE READ AND PRACTICED otherwise the condition will be worse than worse.
Hold fast Islam
ALLAH has said in Quran if muslims do not hold rope of ALLAH, Allah will make another people(qaum) takeover you. It is not up to one country / one person all muslims should hold fast to ALLAH. I think he is just rolling the topic, one time he is telling evry one has right to fight and other hand he is saying no any country can interfear, how come Makkah Mukarrama and Madene Munnawwara are holiest sites on this globe and how come KSA is converting it into morden city with luxiry 5* 7* hotels hi fi shopping malls, Muslim nations should grow but they should think about their dignity/values and importance as people are going to Makkah Mukarramah and Madene Munnawwara for spritual/pilgrimage purpose not for luxry and for shopping purpose if any one want luxry and shopping please make Riyadh Jeddah extreme outstanding and extraordinary 9* 11* hotels 1km luxry/hifi shopping malls and tourist attractions also as they are the kingdom cities and has right to convert it in morden technology and morden structure, not For holy places atleast.
