Tehran, February 01: A senior Iranian official has dismissed the West's alleged concerns over the country's civilian nuclear program, saying Iran's Islamic patterns frighten the West.
“The [global] arrogance, more than being afraid of Iran's nuclear activities, is angry with the Islamic Republic's religious pattern for progress,” Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said at a meeting with a Palestinian leader on Tuesday.
“Today we witness the return of religious concepts to the political, economic and cultural arenas,” Jalili stated.
He further addressed the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists and described them as “the martyrs of reviving the Islamic civilization” and a perfect example of the scientific progress of Muslim scholars and students.
In his meeting with the secretary general of the Islamic Jihad movement, the Iranian official highlighted the influence of the Palestinian resistance on the recent regional developments and on the sweeping wave of Islamic wakening.
“Palestine is the common cause of the Muslim world and the synergic axis of Islamic Awakening,” he added.
Ramadan Shallah, for his turn, insisted that the cooperative attempts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict are doomed to failure, stressing that Iran's Islamic revolution has been a guide for the Palestinians.
“The remarkable success of Iran as a strong and pro-resistance Islamic country in the years following the Islamic revolution and in various fields is a bright light for the Islamic movements in the region,” he said.

Let's take the reverse now. Take an well educated Muslim and send him to Saudi. Over time, he's very likely to become a member of the wild dog pack as the environment around him numbs his critical thinking ability and gives him false security in mob-culture. So a decent educated indian muslim becomes an indecent human and arabbized muzzie when he becomes institutionalized in islamic countries.
No wonder all educated Muslims try to RUN to WEST and NOT stay in their own lands. Religions were never the cause of any conflict. In fact they were and are a panacea for many ills of the society. God in his infinity mercy has always good in the interests of its creation. Religions can be a great source of holding up moral, political, financial and other values for the common good of the societies. One can hold Muzzies or Dotheads or Fence Sitters for religous hatred or the acrimony in the society but not the religion.
Today religions are being held to ransom by lumpen elements. Its not the religion perse for the above episodes but its interpretation and extremism. You often blame Muslims for every ill in the society, but convenienttly look the other way for what the extremists from the Hindus are up to. Rampant provocation and exertion of majority muscle power. It is prevalent right from the echelons of high political heads to the down under barber.
Its like history repeating itself, it was the so called Muslims domintation 2 or 3 centuries ago and now it is the Hindus turn. And the clock will turn again. Shit I hate to see that. Being fair is what is needed irrespective of what denomination one can be. A wrong is a wrong and two wrongs doesnt make one right. Let justice prevail.
As for the difference between educated and uneducated Muslims- I beg to differ. If education can bring sanity then a books carrying donkey can become a judge. For me education comes first from your family then from freinds and the society. For Muslims to be browbeat, it is their misfortune to be swirling into an abysmal labyrinthian waterhole, it is with compulsory engagement with people of other communities will wisen them to know about the other people.
The problem with Muslims today is that they have learnt to be too defensive of Islam and their religion. I wonder, at times is it Islam which neeeds them or they need Islam? The great Saints of yore never defended Islam or they took up to kill Kafirs or to spit on them. Instead they engaged with them and have accepted them as their own (as humans but not as sub humans).
