A 31-year-old pregnant woman died allegedly due to the negligence of doctors of a private hospital.
According to Langar Houz police, the deceased, Firdous Begum, a resident of Nadeem Colony in Tolichowki, was admitted to a private hospital when got labour pains on November 30. The duty doctors attending her informed her that the child already died in the womb.
On December 2, Firdaus was referred to another private hospital as her health deteriorated. On Wednesday, she was referred to the Osmania General Hospital where Firdaus died a few hours after admission.
Based on a complaint lodged by the relatives, police registered a case of negligence under section 304 (A) against the doctors of a private hospital. Further investigations are on. (INN)
