Professional Counselling Session for minors caught in eve-teasing was organized by She teams, Hyderabad City Police at Traffic Conference hall, Nampally today from 3pm to 5 pm.
A total of 10 minors along with their parents attended the session. Counsellors Vasuprada Kartik, Gita Challa and her team of four members counselled the minors and their parents separately. Motivational songs, short films, and SHE teams’ songs were displayed before them. Pamphlets having information about various crimes against women and punishments were distributed to the minors. They were also counselled and encouraged to set goals and work towards attaining them. Parents are counselled to take care of their wards and motivate them positively. Feedback about the session was also given by the Parents and the minors.
Addl CP Crimes and SIT Swati Lakra, IPS, presided over the session. DCP, DD, CCS, Addl DCP Admin, ACP, She teams and the She team members attended the session. (NSS)
