101 couples tie knot under one roof in Karnataka

mass marriages

Hubli: In the present scenario, when there is a competition to spend as much as possible and have a grand marriage ceremony, a businessman in Karnataka’s Hubli District has sent out an exemplary message by arranging marriage of 101 couples, including his son’s.

Ramesh Bhafna, a businessman by profession, could have spent crores of rupees and had a lavish marriage ceremony for his son Sripal only, but instead, he thought of getting other 100 couples of the drought-hit Hubli married as well.

The family, which belongs to the Jain community, conducted the marriage ceremony with all the rituals and traditions. By doing so, the family has sent out a message that there is no bigger religion than humanity in the world. (ANI)
