12% reservations a far cry, Ramakant appeals for 4% reservations

Muslim leaders have to strive unitedly for growth of Muslims in Telangana state. Muslims irrespective of their parties should invite chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Deputy Chef Minister Mr. Mahmood Ali’s attention towards Muslim issues and measures for growth of Muslims. These views were expressed by noted lawyer Mr. Ramakant Reddy. He asserted that since implementation of 12 percent reservations might take time hence effective implementation of 4 pc reservations should be urged. He exhorted Muslim leaders to sink differences and strive unitedly to mount pressure on the government to ensure upliftment of Muslims. There are 64 standing council in Telangana of which only 2 are Muslims, he revealed.
